Central Ky Home Inspections will conduct a free on-site evaluation in homes in our area. There will be a small charge for areas that not in our service area but this charge will apply to the radon mitigation work.

A radon mitigation system should look good as well reducing the radon. We can paint piping outside. If the radon fan and vent piping has to be outside the structure we will try to place it is the lease visible area possible and painting the piping makes the system look like a finished product. When piping is installed in a unfinished basements run the piping in areas that will not be a pipe in the way when the basement is finished.

On most homes we can give a five-year guaranty with a guaranteed price for the mitigation. Some home with stone foundations, dirt below basement concrete floors and other unique areas may take addition work after the first phase radon mitigation system is installed. We do not what to over charge for all the what ifs of added work to guarantee the radon work. 90% of our non-guaranteed mitigations reduce the radon levels in the structure to below the EPA's action level without addition work. Why charge for work that is not needed?

When we say five-year guarantee me mean a five-year guarantee. We do not place any added fees for the guarantee like testing each year. The EPA does recommend testing every two years in home that are mitigated, you can test you home or we can test it at an added fee.

We do supply a written proposal and agreement, you may find that exceptions to guarantees, limited transfers, testing requirement may be in other proposals but not ours.

No payment up front. We only ask for payment on guaranteed mitigation work after the home has tested to be below the EPA's action level of 4.0 Pci/L after the mitigation work has been completed. Payment for non-guraanteed mitigation work is due only after the system has been installed and before the test is started.
